Shipping a C&R from CT?

I'm buying a C&R pistol from a C&R holder in CT, and I am a C&R holder in PA. Is there any reason he cannot ship the pistol directly to me? He just implied that it must go to an 01.

He can't mail it. He may be able to convince UPS or FedEx to ship it, but it will have to be 2nd Day Air. Probably cheaper to just use a FFL01 and the USPS.

Let me clarify. He says he can only ship it to an 01FFL. It's irrelevant to me how he sends it, or who sends it, but is there any CT legal reason it can't come directly to me as an 03FFL?
