New HK416 handguard
Will be offering VLTOR lowers and uppers - the lower will only ship as an assembled unit with a new style mag release button, and a 3 position sling swivel adapter custom made for their lowers (will not accept any std. lockplate, or mag release button. The 3 position sling swivel bracket will not install on a std lower).
Will be offering complete SBRs in 7, 9, and 12.5 inch lengths.
7 and 9 inch versions will use the new 'krink style' gas block/flash hider. The flash hider will be available separate, and the gas block will accept any/all ak-74 or krink style (m24x1.5mm) muzzle accessories.
The 12.5 inch version retains M203 compatibility with lighter profile barrel, and eliminates the crush washer and instead uses a 'crush sleeve'
All SBRs will retail under $2k, and average closer to $1600ish MSRP.
There was also talk of several new SCAR products being worked on this year, as well as an increase in charging handle and bipod options sometime this year.
The grenade launcher has as smooth bore cylinder and a rifled barrel of 8" in length, and currently fielded as the M32A1 by the USMC. The launcher is marketted by Milkor USA INC, but apparently VLTOR's parent company is significantly involved in the production.
The Bren Ten was talked about, but they did not bring the 'old prototypes'. They made mention that some raw parts had taken longer to receive than expected, hence the delays. They also made mention of tweaking several things to 'keep closer to the original'. No delivery schedule was offered.
They are also entering 2011 with reduced pricing.
So, some significant news.
