These guys have some interesting stuff.

The first item is the Lifelight. Not cheap, at probably $130-ish retail, but quite full featured. It's a simple twist on/off design, with a lifetime warranty (unless you flood it with saltwater and don't rinse it out -- it's waterproof to 600 feet by the way). It is very bright and runs on three AA batteries. Expected runtime:

250 - 275 lumens for 3-4 hours (lithium is better i believe)
After 72 hours of running continuously it is down to 50 - 80 lumens.
After a week of continuous runtime it still offers enough light to read a watch or compass. Heres a photo:

It is bright enough that i had to open it to verify it's running on AAs but it truly is.

The AE Light is next:

This light comes in a kit with a charger and RC batteries. Some very high quality lights do not take RC cells, since RC voltage is considerably higher than 3 volts when fully charged. Providing a charger and RC batteries dramatically increases the value of this set.

Probably $130 to $135 retail in kit form. This is convertible to UV, IR, a lantern, or the pressure switch can run a hi/lo strobe.

This is the MK 2. Instant pulse strobe and two mode tac switch. Interesting in that the strobe mode is on it's own button, and the heel of the light is set up so you can index your hand properly so your finger falls in the right place.

The bezel is removable by the user, and it offers four hours of 230 lumens with two Cr123 or an 18650. An adapter to fit two 18650 batteries is available to extent runtime to 6.5 hours.

This one is a cool concept. There is a forward rail with a built in rail that (company whose name i can't remember) offers. This mounts on that rail and takes advantage of the available power supply.

I also suggested that they consider making that very nifty diffuser in red for military use and reduced loss of night vision. They thought this was a good idea.

They also have single 123 lights, and are testing a very rugged, simple, and small 1 AAA light.
