Ambush firearms is a sister company to Daniel Defense. They are selling rifles of comparable quality, but are focused on the needs and interests of hunters rather than the police/military/tactical crowd. The manufacturer believes they are producing the best AR pattern rifles available, and the mid range price point helps Ambush be a great value.
These are manufactured in Southeast Georgia, and the entire rifle is manufactured in-house.
This rifle is a 6.8SPC that sells as you see it for $1,699. That includes the camo finish, the accessories you see minus the scope, and a case. Note the grip on the front end which is movable/removable. It's purpose is to make the AR feel more like a traditional hunting rifle.
Here is Marty Daniel holding one of the new Ambush rifles. Note his size compared to John Shirley.
