FNH sub compact? There's been rumors.

Tell me this "slim line Glock" talk is more than a joke.

Anything new in the compact/sub-compact conceal carry market.

Anything new and interesting in accessories like scopes, holsters, belts, slings, bags, etc.

Coatings and finishes.

Fewer 1911 reports. I think we did that one enough last year.

The new Ruger .22 is interesting: Looks to be a great training gun for their SR9/SR40/SR9C and a complement to their new .22 wheelgun.

I'd like to see them complete the series with a .22 version of the LCP and LC9. I like my P3AT, but training with it is a royal pain in the...

... hands. :D

Also, the .223 black rifle craze is well-played out, but the market for pistol caliber carbines consists of the Kel-Tec Sub200o, the Beretta CX4, and various lever guns, and that's about it. Ruger could do worse to revive the Police Carbine with a folding stock and rails galore.

Anything chambered in .17 Hornady Hornet. Rifles or hunting type pistols in .327 fed mag, new suppressors. I do not want to hear any more of minor variations in AR's or existing tactical pistols.

I would like to see any cowboy type stuff for change.

Me too. I walked all over the place last year looking for that and I only found 3 or 4 booths to take pictures of. I really thought there would be more of that sort of product on display.

I'd like to see news about anything new from Ruger.
Also, that new "double-tap", ugly, ultra-concealable Heiser 2-shot pistol which outwardly looks like a derringer.

Now that the company has it's H.P. White testing laboratory report back, you might want to stop by the Teludyne Tech Industries booth and see how to fix most of the shooting problems with conventional firearms. The STRAIGHTJACKET barrel system was introduced 3 years ago, and from arguments that the company didn't exist to the arguments that everything that was told about them was a pack of lies, they have survived and prospered during this horrible economic time. The "proof" is in the pudding, and STRAIGHTJACKETS are now available on bolt guns, AR's, and AK platforms. In fact, my PSL will be one of the display guns at shot this year, and the results just keep piling up.

The guys at Teludyne have worked 12 and 15 hour days for the past three years to make this company a go, and they have (according to results and laboratory testing) the best technology out there for accuracy and heat control for high round-count shooting.

These are great people to know, and have a product that more than proves its worth if you're a serious shooter.

+1 to magpul 870 stocks, I bet they look sweet on the marine magnum.
+1 to AR15 poly lowers, for some reason they fascinate me.

I'd be interested to hear what Savage is doing.

You can buy some raffle tickets for Remington's surplus M24s for me :D. Not something I'd be interested in, but proceeds go to the Ft. Bragg Fisher House, and I greatly support them.

I going to SHOT next week. I read on the SHOT site that only official "media" are allowed to take photos / videos. Is this true? Or do they care. I was planning on recording some of the sights visually and want to plan accordingly.

Any insight?
