We already know about the KelTec bullpup shotgun and the Ruger LC9 will get some hands-on coverage. Anyone have information on anything else?

The color will help sell it !!

I am off to vegas today and will try to find some cool firearms to bring home from the collectors show at the riviera over he weekend.
A moderator said they are opening a special section just for the shot show we can post in I hope?
oh the sea food buffet at the Rio tonight! lobster, crab legs oh my!!

I assume it's a LED flashlight mounted in a pair of their grips instead of the red laser???

Ya' know, I am somewhat anxious to see all the new stuff every year but after being spoiled so much with breakthrough items it's difficult to be amazed by anything less.

I guess we'll have to wait and see....

I was thing the same thing as JN01. Cross between and old Colt and a new Kahr. I suspect a flop for them. However, I do commend them for trying something new. We shall see soon enough. Anyone who is going to SHOT show should take a "clicker" to keep track of how many new/special/anniversary 1911s are coming out this year.

I think it's great that it's the 100 year anniversary BUT have feeling that fewer people than expected are willing to pay a premium for a collector's model marking the occassion.

That kimber looks interesting. I think the pricepoint will determine if it's a hit or not.

>$750 = instant flop
>$400 but <$700, may compete with Kahr and Baby Glocks if the weight / reliability are there.
<$400 Probably will sell well.

I saw the Kimber Solo Carry at the gun show today, I was impressed. Very smooth all over, like a custom melt job. Ambi safety and mag release. Safety doesn't stick out very far, very unobtrusive. Very smooth trigger. The dealer said Kimber wouldn't allow him to sell it yet, but was taking orders. Price was about $630 I believe.

Let me know if these work or not:

S&W is unveiling an "Enhanced" 1911 series. I am specifically interested if they are for duty use or are meant to be "range queens".

Kel-tec is also unveiling its .22mag carbine I think... quadrail forend, colapsable stock and .32 round mags!! Sounds fun to me!!

Tom

I agree, Tom. I'd like a .22 Mag carbine more than a short-barreled .22 Mag handgun.
