Shot Timer Apps...anybody use em?

Anybody on THR use shot timer apps. I'm thinking of downloading one but didnt know if anybody here uses one that works reasonably well. I'm hoping that I can locate a good app, doesnt have to be free either. Just more or less want to get a baseline idea for how they can improve my shooting sessions before I shell out $150 for the real hip mounted timers.

I tried half a dozen last winter and most were crap and immediately deleted so I can’t tell you which they were. The only two passed muster to stay on my phone to play with are “make ready “ and “shot timer” of this two I remember one worked reasonably well for shot timing dry fire and the other reasonably well for live fire... neither did both well and both required much adjusting of the mic sensitivity to register shots.
I had hopes of using an app for practice/training but after the first few days fiddling with them they’ve just been sitting on my phone doing nothing.

I have the IPSC Shot Timer by Stoliarov (not by IPSC) on my Droid. It'll do in a pinch for practice, but never been really thrilled with it. I much prefer a dedicated timer like a PACT, CED or Comp Elec.

Though you have tweaked my interest and I may try out some of the others.
