Hello, I recently purchased a used Maverick 88 that already has a picatinny rail attached to the receiver. It's odd, whomever attached it used (what looks like) liquid nails. It's pretty sturdy, I can't budge it with my bare hands.

I've seen a side saddle on ebay that attaches to picatinny rails.
Here's the link:

Please let me know if anyone has used this type of side saddle or this exact product. I did see it in person at the recent gun show in San Antonio but it looked really flimsy. I don't know if it'll hold up to 12 gauge recoil of slug/00 buck.

Thanks guys
Steve

You'll be getting a $17 side saddle....don't set your expectations too high in regards to quality, durability, etc. I've seen similar accessories (by similar, I mean the bargain basement price range) literally fall or fly off a shotgun during a training course. If you want to carry spare rounds on the shotgun, your $17 would be better spent on a butt cuff. I've never seen one of them fly off the stock. ;)
