Don't count Galco out, yet

I actually agree with him completely.

Go with the Galco SS2 instead. It is basically an upgraded Miami Classic that has wide shoulder bands. Much more comfortable.

I usually carry in a smartcarry but with the cooler weather sometimes I switch to my Uncle Mike’s propak horizontal shoulder holster. I carry my SP101 very comfortably with it and Red Diamond had one of the lowest prices I found ( $44.99) and their shipping is real low. Quality and fit is top notch.

Check it out:

Mike Irwin does have a point-if you are short in the torso, the Miami is probably not going to fit all that well. I'm 6 ft/185 pounds, and wanted the classic for a driving rig. It fits me just fine and is comfortable to me with a Government model and two 8 round mags in the pouches. Just got back from a long trip and it worked for me. The straps were wide enough to distribute the weight without any discomfort at all, and I put a jean jacket over it which covered it up well enough that my buddies did not know.
