Show us a picture of your reloading bench

@GravelRider, very nice space you have there. Seeing everything so organized makes me all warm and fuzzy.

I don't know how many times I've posted photos of my setup in this thread but I need to post an update on my "new" space that's getting close to being done. It's by far the best gunroom/reloading room I've ever had.

Thank you! I'm generally very organized, though it does wax and wane at the reloading bench.

Please do post up your setup. This is by far my favorite thread here. I love seeing other people's setups. I've made several improvements over the years because of ideas I've garnered from this thread.

I like it! Another well organized reloading area. I have one of those Husky cabinets in my reloading room and some other rolling Craftsman cabinets. Very handy. Is the machete to trim .50 cal brass? What’s the PVC used for?

PVC in ditty bag are target stands...6 if I remember correctly, haven't used them in a couple years. Machete is from WWII...navy, I was told. Bad thing about the cabinet is it "collects" stuff that should not be kept...scope boxes, leather slings, scraps of 550 cord and other crap. I really need to go through it.

Here's my current set up. Starting on the right and moving around the room anticlockwise. The full-width Husky drawer is currently being used for rifle projects. I have 8 other drawers to fill up with stuff, and three empty totes. I also have plenty of room under the bench with the Redding single stage press on for ammo cans full of bullets and brass that have been in the garage for years.

MCMXI: that’s a great set up. Looks like a lot of us are putting those Husky rolling tool cabinets to work. They’re a great value, especially if you pick them up during sales. When I need to consult the internet while reloading I bring a touch screen laptop out to the reloading room and connect via wifi from there.

Thanks! I bought the Husky from Home Depot this past Thanksgiving on a Black Friday sale. It's a fantastic tool box and I should have bought one for the gunroom a long time ago. My gunroom is in my house so it's heated in the winter, cooled in the summer and I find myself spending a lot of time in there. I work from home so sit at that desk a lot. It's a great space now and will be even better once I build some gun racks and complete a few other upgrades.

It's multi purpose; this one serves as gunsmith bench and shotgun reloading bench:

This is my rifle/pistol bench, as you can see, it is tiny. It used to be a microwave stand. The top is not attached, so I have to push down in the top of the press sometimes...... RCBS press.jpg
The flashlights are in the pic because I was showing them to a friend. In case anyone is interested, CDNN should still have some of the camo ones. They are out of the other ones.

SWMBO gets the rest of the basement, minus the utility room, for her hobbies, I get a tiny corner room.

I am seeing a redding powder hopper on a Hornady LnL what does it take to make that happen would like to learn more.

@Mr.Revolverguy, not sure if your comment was directed at me but I have a Redding 10X on the L-N-L and a Redding BR-30 on the RCBS Piggyback II. I plan on adding another 10X to the Dillon 550.

It's not that hard to get either powder measure set up to run on the L-N-L.

You'll need a Case Activated Powder Drop and a Quick Change Powder Die for each specific cartridge, unless your idea of fun is messing with the settings on the one die each time you switch between cartridges.

https://www.hornady.com/reloading/p...e-activated-powder-drop-powder-accessories#!/

You'll need to modify the connecting arm that attaches to the Redding powder measure and is moved by the CAPD linkage. You'll also need to tap the inside of the Redding 10X or BR-30 for 9/16-18 NF threads so that the powder drop tube can screw into the powder measure. Let me know if you have any further questions.

I have one for each caliber sure do. What mods are done to the linkage arm this is a nice setup

If you look at the photos above, you'll notice that the slot in the drum that the throw lever sits in is aligned differently for the 10X and BR-30. The 10X shown on the L-N-L is the easier one to work with since all you need to do is remove some material from either side of the arm so that it fits in the Redding drum slot. The BR-30 requires an angle change and some material removal. We had a thread going in 2011 talking about this. I cut and welded the throw lever for my BR-30 but one member was able to make it work by cutting and shaping alone. I hope this helps.
