So I finally got my Hybrid out of jail this weekend. My plan was to get an ASR mount and flash hiders. However, it seems like the ASR mounts are sold out everywhere and there are some suggestions that this system has been discontinued. The Silencerco website appears sold out too (you can't select a size A,B,C).

If the ASR has been discontinued I'll probably get the Dead Air Key-Mo which I understand is compatible (but more expensive). Does anyone know if Silencerco has discontinued the ASR system (or if this is just more bungling)? Has anyone tried both and have a preference?

The ASR is junk. Keymo is expensive. Consider YHM QD or Griffin taper mounts.

Bingo, I have ASR on my Saker, and it's ok (better than the original trifecta), but heavy and prone to user error. Key-Mo is widely lauded, but is even heavier and expensive, probably a good system for SBRs and whatnot, but not great for anything you want to keep reasonably light.

I have a Nomad in jail and decided to give the Griffin Plan-A mount system a try. A TOMB style attachment is fast enough for me, there's not much to go wrong, and the minimalist brakes are pretty light (especially the Ti models). Here's a Plan-A mount and a minimalist brake on the scale, about 4.3 oz lighter than a Key-Mo mount and brake.
