SIG P-250 - The Perfect Handgun

I checked out a new one at the LGS today. It had a fantastic DAO trigger. The early ones have a terrible reputation with good reason, but people are saying the newer ones are better.

If I bought one and it proved reliable through a few hundred rounds, I would consider carrying one daily.

Assuming the pistol is reliable, the the perfect pistol is the one the feels best in my hand if that's the 250 for you congrats. Enjoy it and shoot it a lot.

The trigger on mine is smooth as glass, but I'm just not a fan of the mile long trigger pull.

Same with my 2011 250-Compact
was a blast to shoot in .357SIG but hated the trigger pull...smooth just way too long.
even with the exchange kits for 9mm/45ACP to go with it...just traded it straight up for a NIB P226

SIG P-250 - The Perfect Handgun

Perfect for what?

Perfect for failing in just about every test for adoption by a law enforcement agency (ATF, Dutch Police, etc.)?

There is a reason SIG expanded SP2022 production and has introduced the P320 while their marketing has been quietly sweeping the P250 under the rug.

Big deal, you say it doesn't pass government tests. I don't buy guns based on government findings. The P250 is an excellent DAO and the P320 is an excellent striker fired gun. They serve me and many well.
