I'm not sure if this is a question relevant to 220ST-owners only, or if basic 220's have this issue too.

I installed Crimson trace grips on my 220ST. The bottom grip screws fit just fine when using the stock lock washers (star-type). The top screw, however, sticks way the heck out when installed using the lock washer.

If I remove the lock washer for the top screw, then the grip is fine, but the threaded portion sticks into the magwell, making it impossible to insert a magazine.

I could dremel-down the screws, but this seems like a caveman approach. Anyone else deal with this before?

Thanks all!

Olde Armourer Sez...

Cave man it. Reduce the height of the screw. Just take off enough so that it won't protrude into the mag well and scratch up your magazine, cause feeding problems or magazine extraction problems.
