Is it just me or is possible to find a half descent Sig Revolution 1911 holster? I was talking to the owner of my local gunshop and he said that any 1911 holster would fit it, since its a 1911. Well I have three of them and neither of them really fit, I mean if I you really forced it down in there "yea" it would work, but then you need a two handed draw to take it back out again. :banghead:

Is there any manufacturer of descent Sig Revolution 1911 holsters, not just 1911 holsters that don't correctly form to the blocky shape of the Sig 1911s? Thanks

What kind of holster? You know leather has to be worked on a bit to make the fit perfect, yeah?

I have a Galco 1911 holster that my buddy's Reveloution fit in just fine. It's well worn in though.

Ah, perhaps that is it. These holsters aren't well worn, the one in question I have been trying to force it into is a SpringField Armory holster that is apparently made out of skin around a bulls hoofs.

The Serpa for a standard 1911 works fairly well, that's what I OC my GSR in. Some of the custom holster makers have the dummy for the GSR, others don't. You'll just have to call around.

I carry my Sig GSR Rev. C3 in a Milt Sparks Summer Special II. It was very tight so I used the trick of putting the gun in a plastic bag (freezer bag or sandwich bag) and inserting into holster. After a few hours, it loosened up just enough. It is still a snug fit but that's fine with me.

Wax Paper

Just wrap the gun in a layer or 2 of wax paper and put it in the holster over night. Repeat until it is perfect. That's what I had to do for both of my leather GSR holsters. Oddly enough, the Kydex one worked fine.
