Hi all. Do any P238 owners here have a pocket holster they like and have practiced drawing from. I've had the Desantis super fly for years. I love the grippy texture, although it still sticks to the gun half the time because the rear oem night sights catch the top stitching. Wondering if anyone has any hacks or mods for this holster or any holster to stop it from catching the sights and staying on the gun when drawing from pocket. Also open to other good pocket holster recommendations if no reliable hacks are possible.

You could always cut that spot back and leave the rear sights exposed. I’ve done so on a holster before.

Another option would be a kydex pocket holster from Alabama Holster. They have a thumb push off to disengage the holster, though mine stay put in my pocket on the draw without using it. The kydex will probably scuff the finish on the pistol though. Part of the allure of the 238s is the aesthetic so you may not like that.

Thank you. Although I would like to find a solution that doesn't involve Kydex for the reason SteadyD stated. I'm not totally opposed to it. I have a hybrid holster with kydex that I use on occasion with this pistol but most of the time it's in the pocket holster. I hadn't thought about cutting it but that might be an option.

Google Robert Mika pocket holsters. I have both a Sig P238 and a Mika holster for it. Perfection. Easy draw and reholster.
