For the first time, I used a scope on an AR in the past couple of weeks, and boy, what a huge leap up from stock sights that has been! This experience has stirred my interest in some range shooting with my HK USC.
So far I've only tried the USC on the 50 yard range and my groups are, well, "groups" might not be the right word. The stock sights are pretty coarse on the USC, so I'd like to improve on them. As it's a .45 ACP firearm, I anticipate its range use (it is a great plinker) will be primarily limited to the 50 and 100 yard ranges. What sort of sighting device might be best for this sort of gun at those ranges?
