Are there any Sistema owners in THRland that have "customized" theirs?

I am asking because I am looking for a wide hammer & matching sear taken out of one. I'd also like a short trigger.

If anyone has replaced these and have them laying around gathering dust...... :D
 
I happen to like the "wide" WWI style hammers and short triggers as well. Maybe you can order the wide hammer from Colt (the one they put on their WWI's) if you don't have any luck finding the Sistema parts.
 
My mods :
#1 swapped the barrel for a cheapo GI spec.
#2 McCormick- hammer sear and disconnector.
#3 Colt plastic long trigger
#4 duck bill? grip safety " older Commander style"

not exactly custom but much more pleasant to shoot now and cost effective.......:D
 
This is my Sistema Colt 1927. It has a McCormick trigger, hammer, and sear; it also hax novak sights a new barrel, match bushing, and Farrar grips. I am sorry but I am sure that Marianne Carniak of the Accurizer Gunshop in Troy, MI trashed the parts when she put the gun together. Regards, Richard:D

Yes, I have those parts if you are interested. Going to put this gun into service as my dedicated 1911/22 Marvel gun, so I have a slide group available too. Thinking about buying another Sistema and keeping it stock, just love the classic look.
