I don't know if anyone has tried this but it works pretty good. It saves some time loading so you can spend more time shootin. I always liked the idea of the Patterson loading flask.

The loader I have made is not quite a flask but a preload charger. The materials I used are: six 22-250 fired cases with spent primers in place, six .45 acp cases with the spent primers in place, two .45 acp full moon clips.

The 22-250 cases are a little tight, so i tapped them in the moon clips with a small mallot. The 22-250 cases line up with the 44-36 Colt Remington cylinders. I can get at least fifty grains of 3f black powder in the 250 cases. I use a 45 grain 3f load in a Walker with a conical bullet. If more powder is needed, a 30-06 case will work too. To precharge the cases I use a Lee powder dipper and funnel, then cap with the .45 acp cases in a full moon clip. I ran the .45 acp cases up in a 44-40 sizer die and then put four dimples in the side of the cases so there is a friction fit on the 22-250 cases. I put a rubber band on the cases to help hold everything together and mark the load size on a paper sticker under the rubberband. To use I remove the cylinder from the revolver, take the 45 acp caps from the charger, then place the cylinder over the charger and turn upside down, pouring the powder into the cylinder. We now have six loads ready for ball or bullet.

I have made up six of these chargers, that's 36 powdered charges ready to go. If one had a loading press it would work even faster. What do yall think of this charger?

That's downright slick and so simple. Someone's going to be marketing that and making big bucks from that idea. Congrats on an innovative idea, using available materials.
