From time to time the topic of a slide assist come up. Something to help those of us who have arthritus, or small hands, or weak hand strength, to rack the slide on semi-auto pistols. I really haven't had the problem until recently when I got bit by the blowback 380 bug. Old "Uncle Arthur" and some carpel tunnel issues have convinced me I needed something.
Well, I found this...

It's called oddly enough the Pachmayr Slide Rack Assist. Just a hunk of plastic with a ring in it that slips over the muzzle and allows you to get a good grip on the slide. Works like a charm, even with the Tisas, which is a real bear from me. The open top Beretta type slide doesn't give me a lot of places to grab onto anyway, but this really seems to help. They say it doesn't work on CZ pistols for some reason, or on really small guns, but on my Walther PPK/S and an open top Tisas (Beretta 84 clone) it works fine.
I just thought someone else might be interested in it. I got mine off E-bay, but just grabbed this add for the picture.
