The only reference I have seen lately to the slippery slope of gun control is the Diane Finstein video of her in the past saying she wants all the guns, vs the recent one where she proclaims she is not after all our guns - just certain ones. (so called aussalt weapens and high capicity magazines)

Many years ago I watched an event on TV that had Wyane P. and Hangun Control's Sara Brady. She made comments at that time that the only reason they existed was to make "reasonable" handgun laws , and that they had no interest in limiting long guns.

I have two pionts here : 1st is if anyone else has footage showing the anti's before and after policy sliding toward ever increased control, now is a good time to share and spread on the interenet.

2nd point is that I hope there is someone recording the present words coming from their mouths and archieving it to use in the future battles. There will be future battles no matter what the outcome of this one.

NFA '34: They only wanted 'dangerous' weapons
GCA '68: They only wanted mail order sales
FOPA '86: While technically a win, it closed the MG registry. (REGISTRIES ARE BAD)
AWB '94: They only wanted 'dangerous' weapons

Not to mention the myriad of state level handgun bans, magazine limits, and other 'goodies' hidden in state and local law.
