I seen this press SMARTRELOADER PRESS MARK XVI SINGLE-STAGE at Graf & Son and woud like to know if it is eny good? I'd like to post a pic but don't know how. I think at 75 bucks, it might just be too cheap. They had another one for less than 40 that will load upto a 375H&h and the $75 on will load upto 50BMG. For what I'm loadind the cheaper one would work for me if there eny good eny way.Has eny one used this press or know something about it?

I got a pic now

Looks like a copy of a Lee Press. If price is important to you, check out the used RCBS presses on the various web sites like Ebay or Gunbroker or even here for used reoloading equipment. If you shop carefully, you can find a good bargin.

I have never heard of it either. There are alot of people that do not like Lee but their anniversary kit works fine, and it is just about everything you need minus the dies, case length gauge, and a good caliper. You can pick it up for about 120 bucks. You can get just a Lee single stage fairly cheap and they are good quality. I have one and use it for 6 different calibers to include rifle and it works just fine. My entire outfit cost about 300 bucks to include my dies and a tumbler.

For an entry level press this might do just fine. If you really get into reloading you will probably at some time upgrade to either multi stage or progressive press and at that time you could dedicate this press to one specific caliber or step in the process. Every reloader needs at least 2 presses :)

I got a Lee Anv Press now I've hd for a few years now and it gave up the ghost the other day the pin hoes got elongated and now it's droping bullets up and down .08. o it's time to get a new press I reload alot but don't need a progressive press I guess I'm just old fashion I like to keep it simple as I can.

"There are alot of people that do not like Lee ..."

Yep. Very vocal about it too. But most of whom have either zero experience with it OR have used it incorrectly and blame the tools for their failures. Virtually all of those who have it and know what they're doing respect Lee quite well, that's why it gets so many recommendations.

It isn't just a "serious reloader" who moves to progressives, it's high volume shooters. Most of us don't need or even want a progressive, we're after precision and that means a single stage.
