The Smith and Wesson 3" 3-5-7 Talo
Does anybody know how many of these guns were made?
They still seem to be available!
Are they still in production?
Any info would be appreciated!

Last I looked they were still listed on Smith’s website so they must still be in production. They had a brand new one for sale in Brownells last time I was in there as well.

I remember seeing them this spring on Wikiarms.com, and I believe they were current production (not new old stock), but none are available on that site now. Maybe if things get closer to normal.

I have a five inch and I have contemplated getting the three inch as well.

I have the 3" Well balanced, love it!
I think with the run on guns lately they are getting harder to find!

The way I understand it, the distributor Talo ordered the 3-5-7 series with unfluted cylinders, 3", 5" and 7" barrels and the laser-engraved Altamont grips. After that, S&W decided to produce them as regular production revolvers, no longer exclusive to the Talo order. There must be a specific set of serial numbers that were a part of the Talo order, and then other serial numbers that are regular production, but since there's no apparent difference in value it becomes trivial.
