I just bought a 686 CS-1, with 4" barrel today.

Anybody got any information on the value of this gun? I bought it for backpacking and riding in the tackle box when I fish, since its stainless and I don't want to haul my 1911 in the woods.

Has a sweet trigger, some holster wear, but all in all very nice condition.

Thanks in advance!

The CS-1 and -2 were made for the Customs Service. Great guns, have a few nice features; a thinner front sight, 1/10 v 1/8, a very nicely setup trigger, bead blasted finish and a round grip frame. They are worth a bit more than your average run of the mill 686. the 3" barrels command a much higher price.
