I have a S&W Airweight model 37 SN# J134958 with a square butt in fair condition. I was interested in the year it was made and the value of it.

Looks like your S&W Airweight model 37 was made between 1973-1974,
and in "fair" condition would be worth 'bout $125.

S/N range for that period ran from J100000-J250000.

Also, as per Gun Traders Guide 25th edition a S&W model
37 in GOOD condition is listed at $153.

Keep in mind that these prices are not written in stone, and
