I want to get a rifle from Smith & Wesson. I found their bolt action guns, and now I need one. The problem is, I can't decide between a 243 Winchester, a 6.5 Creedmoor, and a 308 Winchester.

I have done some research as to reloading costs, barrel life, accuracy, etc. I still can't decide on which caliber to get. I want to use it as a target rifle, mainly 300 yards or less, but I may try longer distances. If I could afford all three, I would get one of each. Alas, I don't make that much money.

If anybody has any suggestions, I'm all ears.:)

I didn’t vote. Mostly because of what I have to say here:
They are all good rounds. If you reload your own then any one of them would be fine for target shooting. If you do not reload them ammo costs would drive my choice.

Agreed, all are good rounds. Especially if you reload, but your choices are:
.243: Speed and range with light bullets, smallest size would (usually) mean cheapest reloading cost
6.5: Wind-bucking accuracy, flavor-of-the-month (?decade?)
.308 versatility with bullet weights and powders

If you don't reload, see what factory ammo is available to you in your area. For 300-ish yards, any should serve you equally well.
