Went to LGS and they sold the HK VP9. Guess I didnt have any gun money anyway.....am surrounded by tattooed bleach blondes.......the ol lady drug me in to the salon/boutique. Gun money is dress money.....who knew?

Well they did her hair too dark, so she went to get it lightened, now of course it's "too light"............but she saw a dress there, so the dress tuned into a blouse and the dress............

I got away cheap.

Eh I'm thinking VP9 in the SK, and if going full size a P30LS

They asked me to work OT today at the plant, but I'm crippled. Think sprain or broken bone in foot.
Was up all night with it (after working 8 hrs on it).
Am more mobile.
Buying her the dress means she should shut up and quit yelling at me to go to the ER.

Only in the short term my friend!

You should listen to her, she's concerned about your health and well being! Dress or no dress you should get yourself to the ER at least.

Besides once you get fixed up , you can then work more OT and buy her more dresses (and get yourself a new HK VP9 too!)!

The foot has screwed up in that area before.
Stress fracture or sprain.
Ever since I tore the sesamoid tendon it's had issue

Dunno when this happened.
Just a little sore one day and worse the next.

Is not high like a Le Franc injury.
Had that on same foot too.

Poor thing has been through the wringer.
Missed out on turkey hunting last 3 yrs because of it.

I won't ice it and drink high % beer.
Did that when I ripped the tendon and it set off gout.
Whooooo howdy!

Never had it before or since.

So..............there's this '70 Ruger 10/22 in the back room that needs some bedding experiment........

Think for a carry rig, will try a HK VP9 SK.
There may be one at the indoor range around the block from my kids PT place in the big city.
Hopefully even one to rent.

Rather spend a few bucks to verify what I want.
Reg at my LGS has a P30SKS w Lazy Wolf upgrade he said I could try out (not for sale though LOL).

No yard mowing today (due to foot). No complaining about that from the ol lady (she will find something else to rant about I'm sure).
Rain in a bit.

I suppose I could do the front (postage stamp sized) and that mean I can go to range tomorrow (supposed to rain there too, but all I need is to zero...........covered line).

The VP9 at the shop was used, looked like new, had one 15 rnd mag.
Had 499 on it, could have gotten it for 450 (plus tax).
Sold already LOL

Guess that was a good price ;)

Relent and get your girl to take you to the doctor. She will be impressed you are listening to her. While there the doctor will manipulate your foot. The pain will be excruciating. (Nudge, nudge, wink, wink). In your moment of deepest pain and agony she will feel so bad for you and want to nurture you...that is when you say “Recovering from this is going to be a Bear. If I had that H&K to look forward to shooting I would probably heal faster....Baby....” Then put on your best puppy dog eyed look and watch what happens...

Hey, it could work. :D

I stand a better chance of winning Powerball........... three times.......in a row.

Mowed the yard.
Scored no brownie points.

What planet you live on? Woman money: Clothes, shoes, purses and jewellery. Men money: Most can't hang one to it. The woman get it. I've been lucky. I do get my shooting fun and my wife approves. Plus she always looks good.

My ol lady has a lot of clothes, a lot.
She looks OK I guess.
For an ex wife.

Yeah, its a weird deal.
I pay for everything, but then I never ask for permission or approval on anything.
Esp gun stuff.

;)

But I really did go to look at the VP9.........was thinking since used, shoot it and if it wow'd me just buy it (shop has indoor range).
But somebody else beat me to it.

So back to orig plan of a VP9 SK.

Just watched the Hickock 45 vid on it.

On a positive note.........my ol lady was the oldest person in the salon, and did look the best.

I will soon have an EX. She spent all of the money and I got tired of it and left her. She never said I could not buy something I wanted, but there was never any money.
Same difference I guess.
