I couldn't resist picking up this DWM Luger from my local shop today. I've wanted a Luger for so long but I've never wanted to spend a fortune to get one. Fortunately this one seemed reasonably priced ($695) so I decided to grab it before someone else did. This is a Commercial model P08 and was built after WW1 and before WW2. These Lugers were imported into the US and sold commercially, they say "Germany" on the side which is a good indication that it was an imported gun.

All the numbers I could find inside and out match and it came in a wooden case with one mag with wood floorplate. There is some holster wear along the edges but overall the gun is in excellent condition. Also included was an old box of ammo.

It is chambered in the original caliber .30 Luger or 7.65x21, so I won't be shooting this gun a whole lot but the ammo is still made by Fiocchi and I'm crossing my fingers that this gun will cycle with it.

Real nice! There's something magic about a Luger, I think it's partly the beautiful lines and partly the toggle lock.

It's a beauty. I passed up a chance to buy a 9mm Luger for $400 a few years back, I'll never get another chance to get one at that price again. Shoot it and let us know how it worked.
