Seems like only yesterday it was the same for my youngest. He shot my 686 for the first time. Eleven years later when he turned 18, I gave him the 686. A week ago Saturday, we went to the range, shot his 686 and half a dozen other handguns. Friday, I moved him into his college dorm. Gonna be a while before we get to shoot again.....together.
Enjoy it, cherish it and make the most of it. They grow up to fast.
