Sportsman's Warehouse Lafayette, IN no sales tax Week

Hello all

Just got back from town (Lafayette, IN) and wanted to tell my fellow Hoosiers that this week Nov. 13th-17th the Sportsman's Warehouse in Indiana is having a no Sales Tax sale. Never seen an ad, but they have a paper flyer in the windows as you come in. Don't know about other Warehouses in other states.

To think I only went in for powder and primers.
oh yea, K.O. Slugs $1.99 in front of the gun counter.

Here in NC we have a similar tax-free weekend which includes sports/recreational equipmment. However our dept of revenue deemed that that sports & recreational equipmment only applies to items designed for people to wear during athletic activities (uniforms, shoes, helmets, etc.)

No ammo, powder, primers, etc.

Too bad I don't live very close to Lafayette and there are no Sportsman Warehouses down here in Evansville.

I heard the advertisement for this special on "The Bob and Tom Show" on 95.7 FM this morning. THR beats SW's ads.

Since I'm hurt again, I think I'll limp on over to SW tonight (only 5 minutes from the Alcazar del Tejon even with traffic on Creasy and 26) and pick up some gear.
