is the sizer die in the B a full length sizer die? haven't been able to find much info on the dies for the B.

I'm pretty sure the sizer dies in the SDB are like carbide dies for most straight wall pistol cases, i.e, a tapered carbide "ring" at the bottom of the die. The carbide insert isn't the same length as the case, but it does a good job of FL sizing.

I have an SDB, and IMHO it's a better choice than the RL550 . . . if all you want to do with a progressive is reload straight wall pistol cases. I say this because I happen to like the auto-indexing feature.

But of course, the RL550 will do rifle cases as well, making it more versatile.
