Your stance and techniques all depend on what aspect of pistolcraft you're trying to get good at. Shooting IDPA/IPSC is a whole different animal than shooting Bullseye or Practical Combat.
www.brianenos.com is a good place for ideas. Not sure what he has on the sight, but there are some good articles, in general. Also recommend Matt Burkett's site, address unknown.
For combat shooting in a real world sense, check out Jim Grover's Crucible series available from Paladin Press. I just got his first tape yesterday and I am very impressed with what he's teaching and why. It aint nothing like IDPA or IPSC!
