Again, why would you not want the info.
I have no need for it. There's no velocity spec I need. And sometimes a bigger muzzle velocity spread makes for smaller groups at long range. It's all due to positive compensation for velocity spreads by where the bullet leaves on the muzzle axis vertical swing.

I agree that if I were shooting only for groups, I would stick to the published loads only and take the one that produced the smallest group and be happy.

I wouldn't do that. I'd pick the one that after shooting several few-shot groups produced the smallest large group. Smallest groups happen 97.654% of the time when all the variables cancel each other out. Biggest groups show how much those variables add up in all directions.
