Anyone know where I can buy some on-line? Seems about as rare as hail in the Amazon!

If you think that is hard to find, see if you can locate the older 115 gr. loadings of Starfire 9mm.

Thanks for the tip!

I really love that stuff! I wish it wasn't so hard to find. I think the Starfire HP design is one of the best ever. I wish PMC made it more avaliable.

I didn't know Black SHeep carried it. I did have a box of the
230 gr. Starfire JHPs in .45 ACP earlier this
year - great price. Maybe I got that at Lolo fergit

No, I don't live near Idaho.

Does BlackSheep do any mail-order that you know of?

Thanks for the info, MD.

Steve...I just got an e-mail this morning from CTD to let me know they have it back in stock.

Well, Black SHeep didn't have any PMC starfire today. Dang I
was just asking about .45 ACP. They just had Speer Aluminum
or brass - funny since they are only a mile or so from
the CCI/Speer (ATK actually ) plant

MD Willington joined me at the range prior to the Black Sheep store
visit - Good range session. I'll post a report on a new thread.

I ordered some Starfire from Natchez last week. I'll give a range report as soon as I can. :)

Suggest you order Federal HST instead. It's, in essence, an improved, modernized "StarFire" design by the same engineer, Tom Burczynski.

You can order HST from Streichers Police Equipment fro $21.00/50 rounds.

The old StarFire design was susceptible to expansion failures caused by cloth plugs in the hollowpoint cavity.

Cheers!
