I did try the integral sights, I quite literally cannot push my cheek far enough into the stock to obtain a usable sight picture.

It helps to flip up the ghost ring... HEE. :p

And although I do not yet own a Steyr Scout, I have shouldered one recently. The flip-up integral ghost ring sight seemed to work for me, and comfortably. But then again, I am unusual. Hahaha...

Either way, I envy you this rifle. Congrats, again, on your acquisition of a great piece.

Online, but not an auction site. I searched all the usual auction sites and was pretty convinced the one I wanted was going to cost $1799. I did a plain google search and ran across one from a dealer for $1400.
