Bought a Sticky holster for my Colt Mustang. Absolutely fantastic holster, really like it but, I need to warn folks that the sticky substance that makes it stick to your pocket has an appeal to puppy dogs.
After my Springer got a hold of it, it was sticky no more.
The things we can forgive a good bird dog.:uhoh:

rrrfff rrrff, thanks for the present dad it tasted yummy:D
But next time please get me the .44 Mag size!

LOL. One of my biggest fears is one of our Rotties getting a hold of one of my Glocks.

The rule around here is, what the toy costs in dollars, is usually about how long it lasts in minutes (or less), when you get it home. And so far, thats been a pretty good guide.

Im thinking the Glocks would be an exception to that rule though. They are tough, but not that tough. :D

Glocks give me indigestion without chewing on them.
At least a good old fashion Colt can be considered something of an Iron supplement.:neener:
What you say about toy cost is pretty much hitting the nail on the head.
I find that Elk and Deer antlers, while expensive, last forever and the pups really like them.

As far as the "iron supplement" thing goes, not everything is safe. Our "pup" at the time got a hold of a M1 Carbine pouch with two empty mags in it. All are now useless.

Given a chance, and a little time, I think some of the alloy guns might be in peril. :)

My friend's dog ate the TV remote control, now when he burps he changes the channel.

Well, he did seriously damaged two remotes though.

I had a Rotty a few years back that found my wifes pin cushion. Completely chewed it up, it was full of pins when the dog found it. She somehow did not eat any of the pins and didn't get a single cut in her mouth.

I love my Sticky holsters. I have never had one of my dogs eat one, but at least they are cheap enough to not break the bank.
I have been surprised at how long they last. I just last week replaced my 3 year old Sticky that has seen daily use.

I probably could have gotten another year out of it, but got tired of cleaning pocket lint out of the barrel. :)

As other's have mentioned their dogs enjoying different items, I'm pretty sure it isn't the sticky substance on the holster, but rather the smell of you that your dog enjoyed.

Nah, holster was to new to have my scent on it, matter of fact it just came in the mail and I laid it down on a chair when he got it.:uhoh:

Don't worry. Dogs not only like holsters they also like balsa wood and the tail planes of a scale RC model J-3 Cub. Damn dog.:fire:

I had a mixed breed dog that was a wonderfull dog, but if you left him alone free in the house, he tried to eat ever sneaker-shoe-boot he could find. I had a large cage built for him in the celler and put him in it or took him along with me. I gave him to my step daughter.
