Still haven't seen a Sig P365 in person.

I do like the G43 but not as well, does anyone know how firm the Glock rumor is? I’ve been suspecting they feel a little left behind by Sig lately.

I suspect that the rumor is just a rumor. And they may feel left behind, but I doubt it. I would think they would be best served by sticking at what they are good at. I think the best Glock fans could hope for is a plus 1 or 2 magazine for the 43.

There are extended mag options for the 43, but 7 rounds of 9mm with 6 more in a spare mag would be more than enough for almost any situation a civilian is likely to encounter.

Buying deep consealment firearm and coupling it to largest capacity magazine available makes no sense to me. Six is enough for me I don't do +1 because doing so in tiny guns is just plain begging for something to go wrong.

The practical value of one magazine capacity / strategy over another one is not important now. All of the major maker's small 9mm's are good, but that also isn't the point.

Sig sells the P365 at a premium price faster than they can make them and have been for a year now, because it is a tiny, good looking, good feeling, good shooting, G43 sized pistol with nearly twice the capacity and better sights. A clear a marketing triumph.

All of these companies are there to make money and Sig with the P365 just raised that bar. Plus Glock lost to Sig on the service pistol with the marketing publicity, good and bad, that generates.

So yes, it makes perfect sense for Glock to be looking to one-up Sig if they possibly can.

Yep, you getting killed because you can't get your gun into action.....

I just read an AIM email advertising them for $549, FWIW. I don't recall if that's a good price or not, but if it is and you're having trouble finding one locally...

Aren't too familiar with modern semi-autos, eh?

After getting R9 I'm not really interested in buying another tiny gun. I will look and examine but not buy. My last purchase isn't tiny and I didn't needed but I bought it because the price was so low.

No, but I don’t recall ever seeing a 10+1 that small before either. They are in demand for a reason.

Me, I’m not ready to leave my boring old G43 7+1= piece of mind for me.

Sidebar – When I first got my G43, I hated it. It took more that a few thousand rounds for me to find the love. But I have it now.

7,+1? I thought g43 was 6+1

After a whole lot of testing, I have settled on Pierce +1 magazine extensions on mine. The Tarren Tactical +1’s were also 100%, as were the stock 6 round magazines. But my pinky fingers like the Pierce +1’s better.

Before you ask, I don’t pocket carry.

I am also not trying to talk anyone out of a Sig.
