As some of you might recall, I have a short "sawed-off" 12ga double barreled shotgun.

The other day at the range, I had my SO take a couple more videos, and I figured at least a couple people here would be interested. :)

In both videos, the shotgun is loaded with 12ga all-brass hulls, CCI 300 large pistol primers, 2.5drams of ffG Goex black powder, a card overpowder wad, a felt cushion, 12 00 buck pellets, and an overshot card which was then sealed with clear nail polish.

There's a video link - the blackpowder shells worked flawlessly. Not TOO much recoil, plenty of smoke, great noise, and a decent pattern on cardboard.

It's somewhere around 5lbs, I think. About on par with the long-barreled S&W500.

As much as I hate cleaning corrosive salts out of guns, for some reason nothing but blackpowder feels right in this gun.

I mean, sawed off, cowboy look, you honestly EXPECT the smoke and noise! :D

Here I thought that will all the details you provided regarding the loads you made, we would be treated to some 00 buck patterns on a target or two. :( Seeing you shoot it is nice but I'm way more interested in what it can do after you pull the trigger.

I'll be heading to the range again, my SO sort of forgot to get pictures of the cardboard we were shooting at.

I'll be sure to post pictures, it patterned better than I expected - amazingly tight (about 4" at 25 paces) considering the 8" barrels and cylinder bore. MUCH better than previous loads I've made.
