Suggestion for a cheap spotting scope

I need a scope that can see .308 holes in paper at 500 yards. Will any of these "economy" models suggested above do the job?

I seriously doubt you'll find many scopes that will let you consistently see .30 holes in a black background at 500 yds.

Do you own good binos? Decent quality at 8 or 10X will give you a better view than a crappy spotting scope. Don't ask me how I know...

At 500 yards on a clear day and without bloodshot hungover eyes I can just barely i.d. 30 cal holes with a $2,400.00 ( ten years ago ) Leica 20-60 spotting scope.
