Summer is GONE...its 19 above and still....so I have Internet again, and I'll post these now


This is a smokehouse my oldest son built the day after we blew our 115E-tek outboard on our last trip to Deering, so we would be burnig time and Alders the right way.Being basicly "Washed up", shes at Deering fishing, and I hunted through the freeze up on Kobuk River, as were smak inna middle of moving from there to here..seeems the water is much harder, so boating is out and snow-go's are in..........

And moving to a Salmon Camp, carrying all the kids, tools, bedding, Tents, and lunch cut in half, but not skinned yet (Sand is everywhere)

45+ years ago, one of my favorite books was Cache Lake Country. I don't recall the author's name but it was a narrative of his life in the north with a lot of woods lore mixed in; no pictures just a few illustrations as I recall. You should do something similar as I believe you would find a market. Share your experiences, knowledge, how to's, recipes, etc.

Im fairly new here also, thirdeagle.
There are a few more pix posted under "arctic hunting picts" I belive...aw heck, just look up what Ive posted so far from my profile. LOL!
A picture book might be in order....someday.
