Suppressor Take 2

Alright… after shooting my Banish 45 with 9mm 147g with 3.6 gains of Universal out my CZP07 and getting some amazing grouping and being the coolest guys at the range.

I’m HOOKED!

Still don’t think a 11oz (full size) suppressor is worth $1050 plus fees/taxes.

So I’m going to try a rifle suppressor. Hello YHM 45 rated for up to 45/70! cos is $699. Lets see if a $699 suppressor is be as good as a $1050

cost from Silencer Central:

$700 + $70 sales tax + $200 nfa tax = $970 shipped. they do payment plans: So $245 a month.

I got a YHM bought it a few years ago it is not a take apart suppressor but I got a carb cleaner tank about an hour in the tank wash it out with kerosene and she is good to go. Top quality can and it is full auto rated.

Not a Take Apart… ooh no, time for a sonic cleaner I guess!

Thanks for the time

Yep, I'll ship free to OP's dealer.
But its likely there are other dealers in his area that could beat Silencer Centrals pricing. And by "likely" I mean everyone.
I talked to my local dealer, and yes, they do all the paperwork + fingerprinting + photo. and they don’t charge extra. They work thur Silencer Central. Didn’t realize it was that easy to get locally. that’s for the advice

edit: they work thru Silencer Shop not Central

You can go to any Silencer Shop "Powered By" dealer and see if they will price match. You can scan your fingerprints for free at their kiosk. A Single Shot Trust runs $24.95
100% this. I was shocked at how much lower my LGS set prices than the online listed prices.

And the Kiosk didn't make the first one easier, but subsequent ones were easier for sure

Pricing you see on Silencer Shops website is set by the dealers who have an account with them. Some never adjust their pricing from the default, others use MSRP, some like me set it as low as their software allows. That software doesn't allow showing a price lower than the manufacturers Minimum Advertised Price. That means you may be able to contact a dealer directly and make a deal.

All the kiosk does is scan prints and allow you to enter some information. You can't use it to view silencers, buy a silencer or anything else.
Once your fingerprints are in SS system you never need to visit a kiosk again.

Try before you buy if possible. There's a reason we don't make them or even have one. They don't take it down much at all, and they really upset the balance of a shotgun, not to mention patterning.
This.
I've yet to have a customer say "My Salvo is awesome!". In fact, its pretty disappointing. I think Anton Chigurh was faking it.

Suppressors were part of my plan for buying my lathe. I need to submit some paperwork so that I can start building when I get approval. I wonder…. Would it make more sense to submit for 2 or 3 at a time or if 1 at a time would work better.
