If I had a pic of what it USED to look like, 35 years ago, I'd post it. 15 years of duck hunting in salt marshes from boats have left it a might less than pretty, though still functional.
My gun was purchased at Cooks Discount in Bryan, Texas when they were closing the store. Got it for $200. It's Spanish built and I'm going to attempt to spell the name, Sarasquetta? Felix Sarasquetta of Spain as I recall looking it up once, a mom an pop gun maker in Spain that, I suppose, was a bit of a flash in the pan.
If anyone has any info on this gun maker, it'd be appreciated. Haven't worried much about it in quite a few years. The old gun is out in my shop loaded with buckshot and slug. I work out there a lot unarmed, so figured something should be handy, especially after that police dispatcher got her car jacked at the car wash next door several years back by three armed kids. That's just about 25 feet from my shop building. They were later caught after several armed robberies with one person being shot. That don't happen often in this little town, so when it does, it wakes you up to the possibilities.
