t/c 45 colt bad shape,big challenge

have t/c 45colt not encore ,and it has rust and forearm is black from water damage ,like to re-furbish.is it possible to get a detailed skematic or book on thompson contenders.this is my first post

There are 2 main versions of the Contender, the original G1 (with or without the "easy open" conversion) and the newer G2. Barrels will interchange between the two.

T/C was bought out, the original New Hampshire plant was closed, and operations were moved to Massachusetts.
