I just put on a Tac-Star side saddle. I had to remove quite a bit of metal from the "lip" on the side saddle that goes into the bottom of the receiver. Is this normal? Without removing the metal, the side saddle would not go forward enough to insert the attachment screw in the rear, replacing the assembly pin.
