Hello Gents, this is my first post here. I was a member of TLF but had not signed on since the board changed names. I'm not getting any money from this course no am I affliated with the company listed below. I am just the on the ground liason and this is the 3rd time that I've brought James Yeager and crew to Colorado for some awesome training. The feed back has been so great that we have been able to keep bringing him back. Yeager used to be with OPS (Options for Personal Security) and is now with Tactical Response Inc. For those of you that are not familiar with Yeager he is on the front cover of Andy Stanford's book "Surgical Speed Shooting" and was also in the 2003 Glock Annual. This is the second time I've taken the Tactical Pistol Course through James and learn something new every time. If you are into defensive shooting, want to improve your skills, carry CCW, or just want to learn to defend yourself with a pistol this course is money well spent! I thought some of you may be interested in this course so I'm posting the info here

This is the most comprehensive 2-day handgun class in the world. A "must attend" for any serious handgunner, our Tactical Pistol course prepares you to prevail in a real world violent confrontation. This intensive course covers an incredible amount of material in just two days, and is perfect for serious handgunners of any experience level. Tactical Handgun addresses the critical information and esoteric skills required to employ a pistol under extreme stress, and provides a thorough grounding in the knowledge required to use your gun to best advantage. Topics include role and attributes of the handgun, legal aspects of deadly force, anatomical theory of stopping power, post-modern pistol technique (high speed combat marksmanship and non-diagnostic gunhandling), tactical fundamentals, mental conditioning for combat, movement, and communication. Live fire drills include both one- and two-handed shooting, using both eye level and retention techniques, at a variety of ranges and from a variety of tactical body positions. Graduates will possess specialized handgunning knowledge and skill that far exceed that of the average police officer.
