Taurus 617 Seven Shot .357 Magnum

I would welcome serious comments on this revo, either pro or con. I'm asking for comments from folks who actually own or have fired this particular Taurus Model 617. I'm not looking for comments on what anyone THINKS the gun is like or opinions of Taurus quality. Nor am I looking for opinions on what I should buy. Just honest opinions from those who have owned and fired this piece.

The 617 is about K frame sized, I feel it will hold up just fine for its intended purpose. These small snubbies are not intended for sustained full load shooting in any make or model. Plus they just are not very much fun to shoot with full loads. The weight is about the same as other snubbies in the same size range, I dont even notice im wearing it, but then again im used to wearing a full size pistol or revolver. I really feel the fit and finish is just as good if not better than the other big names. The trigger is noticably better. I own a few Taurus revolvers and they have performed great through the years. Give them a try, I love quaility guns just like everyone else and I really feel that Taurus is there now.
