Taurus 627SS holsters?

I posed this question to the accesories forum and got no response.

I have recently acquired a Taurus Tracker 627SS with a 4" barrel. This is the 7 shot .357 revolver. I am wondering, Does this gun fit into holsters intended for S&W L frames? I don't have any Smith and Wessons around to compare.

I am looking for a strongside holster for this gun. I have searched many holster sites and have found little mention of the Taurus. Any suggestions for holsters to try?

I have the Ti,version of the same gun.Just bought a holster that was listed on E-Bay to fit a S&W model 10,which Galco has listed to also fit a 627.Same holster and part # for both guns.

So i guess that means the 627 is closer to a k frame! Could you let me know which model galco it is? Thanks!

It wa the miami shoulder holster.I stumbled on to it on E-Bay.It wa listed for a Colt Diamond back or a model 10 Smith.After looking at the barrel profile of the colt to the 627 I thought it would be a close fit,if not I could do a little remolding to make it work.Any way I looked it up on the Galco web site and crossed the numbers from the 627 to the Smith and there the same!The colt has a different #,besides a Galco complete shoulder holster for 25$ plus shipping is a steal,I'm left handed and that's why it went so cheap.
