Taurus auto in super 38

Hey,

I am on the fence whether to buy a Taurus pistol in Super38, Cost seems reasonable at $425. Does anybody know anything about these weapons? The owner states he hasn't fired it. I know ammo is expensive, but aren't all ammo prices going up?

I can't afford a ton of money about $500 is my top end. I own a bunch of taurus weapon and have no problems with them. Anybody own a reasonable priced Super 38, in any brand?

P.S. considering carrying it, S/D.

FYI, CDNN was recently selling (and may still be) stainless .38 Super Taurus autos new for $349.99. These are the newer models with the accessory rails.

If you can find an FFL pawn shop that'll ship in handguns for $10-20, you'll still come out on top after CDNN's $14 S&H fee.
