Never heard of it before today but does look very interesting for a 9mm. carbine and it's at a pretty decent price. Thanks for the info.

Checked one out at a local gun show a few months ago. After that I had to do a little research on it.

They're neat, but suffer from the same issues other imported PCC's do. They essentially copied the HK USC - and there's nothing wrong with that. It looks like it would be a fun and functional range toy.

I read a pretty decent write up that someone wrote at http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2013/12/joe-grine/gun-review-taurus-ct-9-g2-carbine/. I agree with the author's conclusions, the major sticking points with this carbine will be aftermarket support to provide a standard capacity 30 round magazine and a standard folding non-thumbhole stock.

The stuff I heard about them when they came out criticized the lack of mag comparability with, well, anything, and the weight. Criticisms also included primitive sights and lack of folding stock.

But it was supposed to be accurate enough, fairly reliable, an mosly inoffensive. Price it cheap enough and it becomes attractive. Idrather have a center fire systems nano for a little more though.

Interesting, but overly large for the caliber. I would expect a 9mm carbine to be small and light weight

Looks kind of sharp, but I'm not a fan of 9mm carbines that aren't in the "Uzi" format. On guns like the Hi-Point, Beretta, and Kel-Tec, they are naturally shorter since the magazine is housed in the grip of the firearm.

Honestly, I'd just save the $100 and get a Hi-Point. For the money, there isnt a better centerfire semi auto rifle made.
Well, only if you want a carbine that is reliable, accurate and fun to shoot, not to mention inexpensive. I've had Hi-Point carbines in .40 and 9mm calibers and all have been nice little rifles.

The Hi Point is one of those guns that I want to like, but just never could. They're fun plinkers, and you can't beat the price. But I don't know, I just can't get over the cheap, plastic feel of them.

That's a very well-written review. Sounds like there is a couple big hangups with the gun's size and weight, and it's stock. That would drive me away from the gun for $700, but it sounds like stuff you could probably deal with for $400.
