I have had this for a while and am going to start using it more. It feels good and i do pretty well killing those targets, but i dont like the grips. Will any grips made for Model 66 fit? I like the Hogues i have on some other pistols. thanks

square - thanks for any help. I am thinking its all the same but if i buy something online, it will be more of a pain to return if its wrong...

I have a Taurus 66, circa 1988. Square butt. The original owner put Pachmayr Grippers on it which I find very comfortable. Good control for my large hands and takes the sting out of 357s in this medium frame.

I have one, too, from 1987. It is handsome with those stock grips, but not as comfortable to shoot as my service revolver back then was with the Pachmayrs I put on it. I still have those grips somewhere in my garage, and was going to dig them up and put them on the Taurus a couple of years back. The revolver I bought them for was a S&W M67.
Before I got around to it, my dad died and I ended up with his Ruger Police Service Six, already equipped with rubber grips, which I assume are Pachmayrs. So, I decided to leave the Taurus alone. But, yes, they should fit.

Hi

I have a 4" stainless 357 Taurus , pretty old gun. I put the Pachmeyer American Legend grips on it, wood and rubber. They are great. Have been shooting it for 6 years or so and it is still one of my favorites and very accurate. The American Legend grips are great, fit my hand perfectly. i own about 10 other handguns, autos and revolvers, various calibers, models, and makes. This is still one of my favorites. Althought I also take my XDm 3.8 9mm along to the range every time also.
