Long story short as to why I'm asking about this relatively obscure pistol Taurus makes. I decided on getting a PT92, saw the shortage inflated prices of new ones, figure I'll wait until prices go down and in the meantime grab a cheap (sub $300) 9mm for shooting at the range this rapidly approaching Spring/Summer.
The TH9 fits the bill, alternative options are the Ruger P85/89 and Hi Point. Hi Point 9mm interests me the least, so really this is between the TH9 and Ruger P series. For those who have owned or shot the Taurus TH9 or TH9c what were your thoughts and experiences? I will say that I'm leaning more towards the compact TH9c. I figure since this is just going to be a 9mm to hold me over until the PT92 goes down in price and becomes more available I don't care about keeping it long and a smaller pistol is easier to sell.
